Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival is our Chinese tradition festival. At that day, we can eat moon cakes and the moon is round and light. We also can play lanterns and have a dinner with family together.

After dinner, we went to Victoria Park to see ''The Lantern Show''. There were different kinds of lanterns. They were beautiful. Then we went home and mum said that we should eat moon cakes but I don't like moon cakes because it is too sweet and not good for our health. Mum said that if you don't like moon cakes, you should eat a quarter of it too! Oh! I was plaintive... >.<

I like your first paragraph which states facts; be confident and avoid using "can"!

And then your second paragraph detailed your experience - excellent organization, John.

John, you were plaintive - what does that mean?
